Remote Start Not Working

My remote start on my truck went mia, I have p0420/430 codes (rear o2 sensor codes) because I installed ARH longtubes over the weekend and the High eff. cat's cause this....but would that kick my remote start off? does the remote start not work if there is a mil light code? I assume this is the case because it worked fine right up untill i got the check eng light.

Also I just got my Autocal tuner from blackbear and I can't for the life of me figure out how to clear the codes with it! It says it will in everything I read but it's not an option in the menu's anywhere.:lol: Do I have to install a custom tune before this function will work? frustrating.

I know I'm going to get the question so I'll just say... about the Headers..... after spending way to many hours trying to find the exhaust leak that I was sure I had ( took the right side of 3 times inspected and tried different gaskets) I FINALLY found the leak by using a stethoscope and a piece of tubing. It's the welds in the center of the 4 tubes where they come into the collector..... So ARH is sending me a new one and when I get that sorted. I'll give them a fair review. As of 2 days ago I felt they would have to come off because they bastardized my really nice Cadillac truck into a '55 POS, with an exhaust leak and a steering wheel vibration. :fart:

......again I'll address this more later.

thanks guys

If your check engine light stays on after you crank up, your remote start won't work. Mine did it when I installed my pipes. I disconnected my positive battery terminal and let it sit for a little while. I connected it back up and the light went away for a little while. Once I used remote start again, the damn light came back on. Finally the light just went off after about 2 months, and it hasn't come back on since. I even use my remote start on a daily basis with no problems at all.

That's what I figured. Anyone know about the autocal and code clearing?

You need to not only clear the codes, but turn them off all together or they will keep coming back and disabling the remote start.

Looking forward to the header write up.
