4-wheel Drive Maintenance

Recommended Posts

I was at the dealer pricing 4-wheel drive maintenance -- drain and replace lubricant in the front and real axels and in the transfer case. They wanted $398.00 for it. I thought that was a little HIGH. What do you'se guys think about the price?

Do it yourself and save the $$$. Get a pump like this ( http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/store...classNum=10440) and all the fluids and you'll be out probably $75 (depending on brand and amount of fluid needed) and an hour and a half of your time.

I picked my pump up at Wally World for $4

Thanks "Mossyoakglock", I think I'll do it myself. The lubes from Autozone or Advanced Auto and the pump won't be much and the 2500HD is high enough off the ground that a lift is not needed.
