Hello all. I am new to this forum and was hoping you could help me with the pricing of my 1st GM purchase. I have always been a Ford F150 man, but I have fallen in love with the GMC Sierra. I was wondering what you guys / gals though would be a fair real world price from a dealership.

2007 GMC Sierra SLT

- Extended Cab 6.5' Bed

- 5.3L

- 4x4 (w/o z71)

- 21,000 miles

- Gunmetal blue paint / Black leather

- All the standard equip (SLT with SUV style dash)

- Options: Adjustable pedals, Traction control, Park sensors, and Heated washer fluid

- Standard 6 Disc radio w/o GPS

- No sun roof or rear slider

- 20" Wheels

- Bed liner

- Step bars

- No rust at all

- Paint & interior are clean, very well maintained

I am interested in this truck but do not want to over pay for it. If you guys could get me in the ball park since I am new to the GMC's it would be much appreciated. I have checked kbb, and nada but what would you guys pay for a truck like this? Thank you very much in advance. ~Frank~Read more at http://gmcowners.com/gmc-forum/showthread....5&kcplink=1

Thanks for the quick reply's.

I always check Kelley Blue Book, and NADA prices.....

I have checked both, but with the economy I was wondering what people where paying in real world prices. Especially to a dealership I am not going to pay full retail or private party value.

I just did some research on that topic, I was going to get a custom tune on the truck anyway to try and improve performance & fuel economy. I also read up on the brake light switch problem I will have to keep an eye out for that as well.

In Syracuse NY you can buy a NEW 2011 GMC 4x4

x-cab 4.8? auto with all power goodies for $26,xxx.

Why buy a 4 yo used ?

Because I am looking for an SLT model, and I don't have the money to pay the new $42k+ price tag on them. The truck does not have one spot of rust on it anywhere, that includes the under body. The interior and the rest of the truck look almost brand new.

Make sure if you get it that the recall is done for the heated windshield washer fluid, or you will have to deal with it later.

In my neck of the woods, that truck would probably go for about 30K, especially since it is such low milage.
