I still haven't seen any other of this color on the road besides mine and I believe I've only seen one other mention here in the forum. Has anyone else jumped in to this color? Is this color not taking off too well? Or have they just not gotten very many of them out to the lots yet?

First post here. I just bought a new 2011 Silverado in Steel Green yesterday, will pick it up tomorrow. I first saw the color last week at the local dealer. A guy was getting a 3500 Dually delivered when I was there. It was at night and I thought the color was great. When I went to my dealer yesterday and saw it in the sun, and another all cleaned up on the showroom floor (the one I bought) I just had to have that color. I haven't seen any on the road yet. Is it tomorrow yet?

It's an awesome color. It's basically the same color as the Storm Gray Metallic with a green hue instead of a tan hue. Very pretty. :P

That's exactly right Stevens, it's got that green hue in the sun but a very deep gray like the Storm Gray at other times. I love washing it and watching it change colors throughout the day. I lucked in to this color because the dealer wouldn't move the price of the All Terrain he had in Storm Gray down any farther (even though he had personally put 1800 miles on it already), so I said "Well what about that gray colored one over there..." And the rest is history. I haven't seen a version of Chevy's Steel Green yet, is it the exact same or at least real similar?

Chevy's is identical, as are all the colors.

Great shade, and finally something a little different and extremely classy. I've liked this color since seeing the 1st new 2010 Colorado at a local dealer, in it. Fits a Chevy/GMC truck perfectly.

Nice, 2nd only to Stealth Gray Metallic (wish I had a clean pic on hand). I dont believe it's a new color for 2011 though.

Still wish they made the dark hunter green... That was the color of my first truck (2001) and I loved it. Wish they would have offered it on the GMT-900's. I would have gotten it in a heartbeat.

It's in the brochures and pain samples as "NEW for 2011!" with a side note that says *Not available on Sierra Denali.

Awesome! Another member, it warmed up to 70 here today so I was out washing all the snow and slush residue off. That metallic really shines in the sun and it reminded me why I fell in love with it on the dealer lot a couple of months ago. Great looking truck Redwolf, hopefully more of these start to show up.
