Well we all know that the new HDs won the MT TOTY award this year with their all new chassis. Well for the MY 2012 trucks they may have a new body to put on that chassis. (or at least i hope, it should be showing at the Detroit auto show) So they(GM) would be in the runnin again for TOTY. Wouldn't it be great if they won two years in a row, how great would that be for marketing, it would wright itself practically!!

2012 will be a lame duck model year. The K2's come out as 2013's in the very end of 2011/early 2012. No reason to spend any extra money GM does not have on the 2012s as they are a dead man walking.

 

Not sure if TOTY really matters one bit as far as sales. Who still takes that old rag anyways?

 

 

 

For some reason im thinking 2012 was the new HD bodies, are you sure it's 2013? Cause if it is i agree with you about not spending money on an old body style.

 

But i guarantee the TOTY reslults in sales, why do you think whoever wins it tells people in their adds that they won it? Im still seeing adds about how the ram won the 2010 TOTY.
