Hey all,

 

I just found this forum and decided to hop on! I have a 2009 Silverado Crew Cab with the 5.3L and the Z71 package. Between my wife and I, we've put 42,000 miles on it in just over a year. It's worked pretty well for our growing family thus far, though I have had a couple of issues with it. First, I had to have some transmission work done on it and I just found out today that my lifters have to be replaced. It's all covered under warranty, so not too big a deal. Anyway, I look forward to reading up on all things GM-Truck related.

Thanks all! Yeah, we drive it on long trips and since my wife's family all lives up in ND and MN and my family lives in MO and TX, it makes for some mileage. Add to that the 60 miles each day of commuting and you can see how it adds up quick.
