Grill Guard Fitment

Would a grill guard from a 2000 Sierra fit my 2005? I found one at a steal of a price on a truck that's being parted out and want to see if it'll fit before I make the drive to get it.

If you look on Ranchhand's website (my grille guard is a ranchhand), they list different part numbers for the 00 and 05 GMC 1500. I don't think you would know decisively unless someone else chimes in or you try it, but it could be a significant gamble.

It sometimes varies I guess, depending on the brush guard/grille guard your looking at, I had a Westin and it showed for 99-06 Sierra.

I passed up on it. There wasn't a manufacturer sticker or stamp anywhere on it so I couldn't verify anything and the guy was over two hours away. Still, at just $45 I couldn't justify driving all that far away to get home and find out it wouldn't fit.
