Alignment Now Or Later

i have 265/70/17 tires on now for winter

my summers will be 275/60/20

if I got an alignment now, would it be off when i put my summer wheels back on in april?

No. They won't affect the alignment.

wheels and tires are a big confusion by people. they dont affect alignment whatsoever unless the rim is massivly bent or the tire is royally screwed. its actually better to have it aligned with the stock way more precise rims than an aftermarket set that wont be as percise. not to mention its a hundred times easier to put the alignment heads on stock wheels than most aftermarket, thereby not scratching your new wheels when some dumb kid tries to put the heads on.

ok great because i am going one size larger tire on my stock rims in april but i need the alignment now

They have tire places where you can get lifetime alignments for a set price, usually just a couple bucks more than a 1 time alignment. To me its well worth it espically for you northern guys who are constantly changing wheels for the different seasons.

i have yet to see a local tire shop with a decent alignment machine....i take mine to the local autobody shop
