Time For A New Truck

Call me crazy but I think I'am going to do this. Bought a new 2010 truck end of October. I can now get a 2011 same truck but Z71 suspension instead of the heavy duty suspension and the 11 has park assist and adj pedals other wise same truck for $750.00.

Why don't you spend the $750 on a nice vacation with your someone special or another fun toy? I'd love to spend a pile of cash on a new truck, but between my corvette, my mountain bike, my tools, and my sudden interest in skiing... there is too much else fun stuff to buy!!!

 

Oh, and a house. Gotta buy one of those this year too.

If you were really unhappy with your current truck, then I say get what you want.

My Dad's '09 Z71 rides better than my uncle's '10 4X4 with the heavy duty suspension, but you don't really notice it unless you're on a bumpy road or off road. Not a huge difference and prolly not noticeable if you're a passenger, but if you're driving you can tell a little difference. Prolly not a $750 difference though if it were me.

One year newer is worth several hundred dollars along. Add the Z-71 suspension, plus it's waaaay easier to sell a Z-71 downline, and the rear sensors ...

 

Yeah, DO IT!!! It is well worth your $750.

 

Hopefully, the new 2011 truck is VICTORY RED. I love mine dearly and would own no other color.

Yup. z71 is desired more than the standard model and a 2010 sitting on the lot right now new is still considered a year old. It's worth it!

Leaning Black, but most every color is available. Z71 not the point. KBB identical 2010 to 2009 is worth over 2K more, and it will be the same for the 11 over the 10 in a couple of months.

If you get black you either need to be ok with having a dirty truck, have lots and lots of time on your hands, or a pro detailer living in your garage.
