What kind of engine modifications would a guy need if he was going to run a magnacharger on a 5.3? (engines got 110,000 miles on it if that makes any difference) Also can you use nitrous and a supercharger? Or would that pretty much fry the sh@# out of my engine?

depends on what your power goals are.....yes you can run blower/nitrous together, just have to be smart about it. that motor will need a refresh for sure.

get your tranny beefed up. that is a must.

Tuning is the most critical part of getting boost or nitrous to work on a stock engine. Nitrous can nicely compliment boost because a supercharger or turbo raises intake air temps but nitrous comes out of the jet at something close to -130F, very effective intercooling.

 

You are going to need to look at things like a bigger fuel pump, larger injectors, sometimes supercharger kits come with those.

Do you already have headers?

Should look at fresh valvesprings.

All i have done is put a K&N CAI and a true dual with flowmasters. Everything else is stock.
