Very interesting.. I didn't know that. I just checked a few of my recent photos and sure enough... there was the GPS tag. I'll have to disable the feature on my kids i-touchs.

Also disturbing.. and I know the article is to put information out there for people to be aware. It's a catch 22 as they say.... but its like drawing a map for the pedophiles.

yeah i find all the geotagging stuff kinda odd.... and all these apps where you can locate your friends... why would you want to do that?

its usually easy to turn off i like in when i am taking pics of things in other places and people ask where was that pic taken and you can just show them

They sent an email around my office about this.. since we do a lot of work at millitary bases, we have to be careful... i just dont' take any pictures of anything and post them.. i usually take my personal camera sightseeing, but it's off base...
