Blend Door Problems

Does same in manual and auto as well as passanger and driver. Set air at 90 blows very hot. Adjust to 89 or lower blows cold????? Have attemted a few things...no DTC codes...removed battery and let system recalibrate could hear blend doors opening and closing.....Above drivers headliner there is a looks to be a small speaker cover. Remove it and there is a 4 prong plug that looks like nothing ever attatched to it. Could not find anywere what is sapossed to be there if it even would cause my problems. Everybody is full of opinions and I am open for any. Thanks
