Big 3 And Alternator Question..

Big 3.. two of the three are fairly simple. Alt Out > Battery, Battery Negative > Ground to to any bare metal as close to the battery as possible the only spot I'm unsure of is the Engine Block > Battery Negative.

 

Can someone post a picture clearly showing the best spot to ground to the engine block area? I'd really appreciate it.

 

As for an alternator I'm looking to upgrade to something that will fit in the factory location without any modification in the 250amp at 1200-1500 RPM range with a minimum idle amperage of 120-150

 

Suggestions also greatly appreciated.

As far as the Alternator goes..you might try the police package alternator The 160A police package alternator is . #15128978. I believe they are about 240 bucks at rockauto.
