torsion bars

I just raised my torsion bars this evening, got about a inch.  I had to turn the drivers side 4 and the passenger side 3 to get it level.  I guess they were not level from the factory?  I couldn't get the height exact on both sides though.  About 1/8th inch difference.  That might be my driveway but I'm not sure.  Anyone have any similar problems?  Will that little difference hurt anything?  They are not maxed but I really didn't want to raise them as much as I did.  I could probably get a couple more turns.   I might lower a bit in a few days. The height from the ground to the top of the fenders is: Drivers=38 in. Passenger 37 14/16 in.  Looks much better but I am still aprehensive...I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Your truck is fine like that!!!  All the trucks seem to lean to the driver side anyways.  I had to raise my driver side 4 turns just to level the truck from side to side.

 

Measure off the frame rail to get a true reading.  The body panels are not hung on the truck equally.  My frame rails are now equal but I still have about 1/4" difference in the fender height.

My Goodness...that is a non-problem my truck from the factory sat 1/2" out of level on concrete that I knew was level with a little help from my transit...but after a few good heavy loads, 4000+ the truck leveled herself out...1/8" will make no difference if you emptied your gas tank the driver side would probably sit higher.... it's just a truck GM gives you loose tolerances.

It's not just Chevy's. My Supercrew wasn't level either.

ok, now sould you get a wheel alignment. I,ve been told it is fine to make this adjustment but you must do in combination with a alignment. Is this correct???????
