89 S10 Pump Help

Have an 1989 S10 2.8L fuel injected. My thermactor pump, air pump, whatever you want to call it is making noise, and I was just wondering if anyone knows how much shorter of a belt I would need once I remove it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You can take string or twine and wrap it around the pulleys as if it were the belt and get a rough measurement from that. You may have to try a couple of belts to get it right. You'll need to get one that allows the tensioner to be in the right position to do its job. A good parts store can help you with this
