Rc 2" Leveling Kit Question

I just got a Rough Country 2" leveling kit installed at a local car repair shop for my 08 Sierra. I had two questions - do the bolt clips need to go back on, or no, because they are replaced with nuts? Other thing was they raised the truck with a lift and didn't take the tires off to install it. Is this bad for any reason? Could they have installed it incorrectly because of this?
