ok.. its a 99 silverado 5.3L bought it at the end of december put new plugs in the first days of january... and i swear since i put new plugs in my truck it feels with less power but thought it was just me... today i realize one of my plugs was loose so i took it out to check if it was broke or something, and i compare it with the ones i took off... and realize they're different.... the old ones are 12621258 41-110 and the current ones are 19256067 41-993.... in the picture... old ones are the ones in the left that seem a little bit longer in the bottom... and the current ones are the ones in the right..... should i get new plugs that are the same as the ones that came with the truck? or this just doesn't makes a difference??? any thoughts?

41-110 (.040") is an iridium plug. 41-993 (.060") is a platinum plug. GM has changed the recommended gap to .040" starting with certain '97 models.. The 41-993 are gapped to .060" The gap difference is why you may notice a difference in your performance, that and a loose plug. You can find platinum, double platinum and iridium plugs gapped to .040" Use one of those. I'd prefer the iridium if the price is close. If not then the double platinum.

Do not re-gap your current plugs

The application for your truck calls for 41-985 which has been superseded by 41-110. So 41-110 is the correct plug and comes prega[pped at .040.
