Remote Lock/starter Antenna

Does anyone know where the stock keyless entry/start antenna is located at on a 2008 SLT GMC Sierra Crew Cab? I have been experiencing decreased range lately with my keyless entry/start and what wondering if maybe I have something blocking it.

The controller is attached to the inside of the driver's side C pillar. The antenna runs along the back cab wall, just under the rear window.

Do you know why I might be seeing decreased range with my remotes? I have replaced the battery within the last week.

possible interference from other wireless systems. sometimes aftermarket metallic tint will also cause it.

 

 

but the most common is some wireless device around you (or on your person) interfering.. I don't have the problem with my Chevy, but my Chrysler was horrible because my office is on the backside of one of the larger Los Angeles Rail Yards (where they store the freight train cars, and all the switch tracks are), there is a HUGE antenna and repeater array within 50 feet and it craps out all cellular, wifi, remote starts, bluetooth, etc..
