Frame Wax Clean Up

I have to admit this is one of the stranger posts I've ever made and I'm not sure if it belongs in the maintenance thread or not. So, mods feel free to move this wherever it belongs.

This is the fourth GM truck I've owned, and I've done more than my fair share of simple maintenance items on all of them. One of the hassles I've run into in working under the truck is the frame wax coating that easily makes a mess if you get it on your arms/hands, etc. It's usually a bear to get off.

Through an accident I found out something that will make cleanup easier. Johnson's baby oil will dissolve the stuff like magic. Then it will just wash off with soap. Thought I'd share this revelation with others who come out from under their vehicles looking like I often do. I almost bet someone who wanted to paint the frame could use the stuff to dissolve the wax. The wax coating in my opinion is good stuff. I've never had an issue with it other than it being messy.
