Hey guys,

I'm new at this so if this topic is already done sorry about that. I just purchased a 3" front level kit with a 2" rear lift block kit. I am interested in getting 20" xd spy wheels with Nitto Trail Grappler 305/55/20 tires. Do you think that i will be able to clear those tires without any major modifications. I dont mind cutting the plastic wheel wells.

I guess the wheels would have to be the 20" x 8.5" which gives me a +18 off set.

I currently have a 24" rim with 305/35/24 with my truck stock and have no current rub problems. they have a +20 offset.

They won't fit without major modifications. I've heard of guys needing about 4.5 to 5 inches of lift to clear that size. A 305/50/20, however, will look great.

Your better off with the 305/50-20's. If you try and fit the 55's, they'll rub pretty bad. :banghead:

The will rub!!! I currently have Cooper 305/55/20's on 20'' rims with 20 offset. I have a rough country 2'' level and 3'' body lift and still experience minor rubbing in full reverse, if that helps.

With a lot of help from this forum I just installed those same wheels on a 305/50/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ with a 2" level kit and it looks perfect. Everything I have read tells me that the 305/55/20 will be too big for your set up.
