Plumbing In An Auxillary Fuel Tank

I plan to add an auxillary fuel tank to my pick up. It is a 2000 Chevy Silverado K2500 (new style) extra cab shortbed with a 6.0 Litre and manual transmission. I tried to purchase one from Transferflow but they say unless the truck is diesel the only way is to install a transfer tank. I don't want a transfer tank. I want to be able to transfer fuel while on the road. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how to plumb in an auxillary tank? Thanks in advance for any response.

Ok I was hoping someone would have something to offer on this....

 

I was talking to a guy about how to hook in the auxillary fuel lines and he suggested running it into a T joint into the fill neck line. He also warned that the auxillary tank vent must be T'd in to the main tank vent line or I'll get evap codes. Can anyone comment?
