Long overdue

Well today was the day.  Finally me and my dad got new tires (225/70/R14's) and put new shocks on his 92 S-10 (originals had 110K miles).  We added monroe sensatracs.  So far it is a huge improvement.

hmmm.  They are made by goodyear.  Id call them an offbeat brand.  

 

They actually look really good.  It even raised the truck up slightly (even though the only difference between the size is width these must be slightly taller also).

How much did you guys pay for the shocks?  Did you put them on yourselves?

he got them at sears.  Price was hmmm $19.99 or $29.99.  Ill have to check on that they were on sale at the time so i wanna say $19.99 ea because i think total was like $84.  We put them on ourselves.  Were very easy even though the originals were on for so long.  Lots of rust and crud but in less than an hour (we did alot of cleaning and checking things) they were on.  Huge improvement.  Tires are great in snow and the shocks make it ride much better.
