hey this is mekenek777 someone try to still pickup and broke key cylinder housing so replace all that with new key ,now truck starts then dies ,security light flashing ,engine starts and dies any ideas i would app.

You gotta by pass the security on the old wiring. Either go to dealer or a good locksmith. Your old key had a chip in it and your truck is looking for the chip when you crank it. Try holding your old key next to the ignition switch when you crank it.

hey we tryed that still nothing ,but did find how to make it start takes bout 30 mins ,you put key in ign. and turn on until security light stops flashing and stays on for bout 10 sec. and do this 3 times in a row and dont start trk or u will have to start over takes bout 10 to 12 mins but it does work thanks.
