Cam's and stuff

Ok I want to put a cam, springs and harden push rods in the 6.0L and I don't have a #### clue as to who makes aftermarket motor accesories for the LS1 derrived Vortec motors..I saw that Crower makes aftermarket for the 350 cid displacement but wasn't 100% that the cam would fit in the 6.0 I figure GM would change the cam bearing or something ignorant.   CMNT this is your place man...where do I need to go??

Lunati makes three cams that are street/strip cams that would probably work best with your truck.  Comp may have a few grinds too, but I couldn't find any.

 

T-Byrne has a nice graph of their specs on his website.  Later today when I get a chance to sit down and go through each spec, I will.

 

My question to you is what you want out of it?  Do you need to pass an emissions test?  Where do you want to make your power (each of those cams has a slightly different rpm range where it makes it's power)?

 

They also have drag cams, but I'm thinking you want to use your truck more as a truck and not a strip monster.

Your 100% correct that's what I want a Cam that's going to offer me better performance but I don't want to much lope or where is sounds like a drag car...I want to have better low-end to mid-range if possible...Thanks man.
