fyi................

We certainly understand why it is theoretically possible for a consumer to experience a mileage increase after installing a K&N air filter or intake system, however, we do not go so far as to make a general claim that our air filters and intake systems will provide an increase in mileage.

you will see zero gains....the hp gain that most advertise is from a truck being run wide open..unless your taking your truck on a track forget it and keep the paper stock set up

0 mpg increase, but a cool sound when you get on it. Cleaner engine bay also.

Cons=Takes a good chunk of money out of your wallet

nothing at all. Highway you may see something but im a firm believer of leaving the factory air cleaner in. If it was such a great increase in power and mileage you would start seeing gm and all the manufactures start adding them in from factory

Another con of the cotton/oil air filters (such as the K&N) is an increased rate of engine wear.

The cotton/oil air filters pass more air....and they also pass more dirt.
