A Few Pics Of My Truck

Recommended Posts

Finished my interior swap last Saturday and figured I'd put a few pictures up. I got a full interior out of a 2002 Avalanche and, between selling the back seat from the Av and the original seat out of my truck, managed to break even on the deal. To wire the seats, I basically wired the truck for a trailer brake. I found the trailer brake harness out of a truck in the junkyard, connected the ring terminal to one of the studs at the fuse block, and added the necessary fuse (I used a 20 amp because that's all my 12 gauge power wiring is good for). I ran the wiring up under the dash and under the center console so its completely hidden. All the wiring was run through a one inch hole I drilled in the ductwork that for the rear HVAC vents, which is easily accessible under the cupholder tray. I need a new console lid because it's cracked, as is the driver's side armrest, but I'm still very happy with how it turned out.
