No Ignition, No Crank, No Power At All.

Hey all

Sooo, this morning I went to the grocery store and when I started the truck to come back, the starter stuttered a bit but the truck started OK. Then in the driveway, I turned off/on the ignition a couple of times to see if I could replicate the issue. No problem at all, started everytime (3-4 times).

Then later in the afternoon, I found my truck completely dead. It tried cranking a bit, but a 2nd try at the ignition only lead to the topic title...

Now I'm pretty sure if I let it there for an hour, it'll try to crank again, only to completely die once again.

While inspecting the fusebox underneath the hood, I found a melted ignition 40A fuse. The fuse usually have those two metal spots underneath the plastic glass. Like this:

The one I found has only one, bigger, melted spot. But the plastic housing is OK. :dunno:

Any idea what is causing this ?
