Readylift Shock Extensions

Recommended Posts

I recently installed a leveling kit with rear blocks. Yesterday I installed my shock extensions, pretty simple job. The problem is, no paperwork came with the parts. I have read instructions from their lift kits that supply the extensions and I am not really sure what the torque should be. On the SST lift, it has a bolt grade sheet with torque numbers. The grade of the hardware that came with my extensions call for 236ftlbs. Seems a little steep to me, just want to make sure I torque these properly so I don't run into any problems. Anybody work with these and know what the proper torque should be for them?

Extension to factory mounting point?......(I have those tightened to factory specs.)

Extensions to shock?

Thanks.

Well torque spec for the rear shock bolt upper and lower is 85ftlbs, i wouldn't go much higher then that. Don't wanna compress the mounts and not be able to get the shock or extensions back out.
