Gmc Hd Jh6 Brakes

I have a 06 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the JH6 option. When I look for brakes (f/r) for this, there are no options - only the AC Delco brand. I dont mind them, but I wonder why Wagner or other brands dont supply them. Do I have any other options? I do pull a camper during the summer and I dont want a "downgrade", but these pads and rotors are extremely expensive.

What is the JH6 option? What is different?

The JH6 Option is the HydroBoost brakes and the vehicle has a 9900GVR. RockAuto has different pads and rotors listed for this option. Just dont know if its all hype or are the expensive pads really required.

All 25 an 3500s going back to at least 2000, had hydroboost. Maybe long before that.

When I replaced the pads frt an rear on my 2000, I used Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors. There are other choices out there. A 2500 with hydroboost.

Plenty of options out there in the aftermarket. Go see you're local auto parts store. I prefer Wagner's and just

did a four wheel brake job on a '04 HD with Wagner Thermo-quiets all the way around.
