Gm Molded Front Mudflap Fitment

Recommended Posts

I bought GM molded front mud flaps for my 2011 sierra 1500 and the fender bolt hole is not even close? If I put that bolt in all 4 other holes get pulled away and vice versa.

I don't remember having these issues on my 2007 Sierra mudflaps. Anyone one else have this issue?

Thanks.

I put both the front and rear mud flaps on my Silverado, and the front ones were about the same. I don't remember exactly now what I did, but I had a heck of a time and was upset because GM makes these specifically for this vehicle. I tugged or pulled and finally got either the top or the bottom in first and then skipped a hole and got the next one started and tugged an pulled and finally got them all in. I hate it when parts specifically made for what I have don't fit. :):fume:

Well I got mine on. What I did was open up the top two holes upwards with a rat tail file then I warmed up the flap gently with a heat gun.

Heating it made it easier to pull the holes into place so I could get the screws in.
