Got My First Deer Of Deer Season

well a nice 8pt buck decided to run out from behind a bush in front of my truck when i was doing 50. i hit it dead on with my push bar and it went under one of my 35's. needless to say i had no damage and got some venisen out of the deal

Bow season has been open for a couple weeks here but need to wait about 2 months to go after one with my rifle

Yeah, I envy you guys that get to hunt in August. But then I think about it, and I live in TEXAS where its still 100* so it may be a little too hot to hunt right now.

haha yah i skinned it up and got some nice meals planned. tonight is venisen chilli night lol andi never got a message.

Make some deer roll ups. Delicious. Cut deer into strips. Marinate in Italian Dressing for 8 hours. Cut jalapeno in half and remove seeds. Put piece of smoke Gouda in jalapeno. Wrap deer around jalapeno. Wrap bacon around that. Tooth pick through. Pop it on the grill. I swear I can knock out about 50.

 

 

Granted those are with duck same concept though.

This bugger had a decent rack till i squashed him. 8,000#@65mph vs 180# @ 20mph... hmmm

The first one I hit at 70mph and the cruise control stayed on! hahaha
