Transfer Case Model Code..

I don't know which type of transfer case is in a 1997 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado .

my uncle has 1997 Silverado 1500, 5 speed manual transmission, manual transfer case with a floor shifter .

 

* my question is :

 

what type of transfer case is it ??

is it NP205, NP203 or NP1 ??

it has a floor shifter with 2H, 4H and 4L .

Do you have access to the truck? The easiest way to tell is to crawl under and look for the small, circular tag on the backside (usually at least) of the case. It will have the model number there.
