Buzz Noise In Speakers

my brother has an 04 silverado LTZ Z71, with an aftermarket radio. for some reason there is this buzzing noise coming through the speakers only when the radio is on. it seems to be speed sensitive because the pitch gets higher as the truck accelerates. it sometimes does it, it sometimes doesn't do it.

any ideas?

Actually, I was making an assumption that I didn't realize. Which speakers are whining? I guess it could be any of them but I was going by my experience with a subwoofer. It can be with any speaker wires being too close to a large powe wire.

well its got subs, but the sound is coming from the speakers. we can't tell which ones though. the power wire that goes to the amp passes by the underhood fuse block

if his truck came with Bose then its the bose unit thats making it whine..... bose was not designed to be used with a aftermarket headunit. take the panels off and clip the wires from the amps that the door speakers have rewire them strait into the speaker from the headunit and ditch the housing with the amp (personal experience with the girlfriends car). if it was out of the sub then youd just need to get the power wire wired into the battery or a hot stud on the fuse block in the engine compartment..... (that was my problem with my sierra, i found a hot stud when i took the plastic housing off the fuse block)
