2011 Sierra 1500 Invoice

Hey, I have been frequenting the forum for quite some time, but this is my first post. I'm in the market for a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 and have narrowed it down to a couple of vehicles. One of which fits my taste and options preference. It is a local dealership but I have been looking all over east coast for something with similar options and color. The dealership said the invoice is 39848 with an MSRP that is given on window sticker of 42450. The VIN is 3GTP2VE37BG254246 if anybody would care to research true invoice pricing and help me out a bit. Thanks guys

Have you tried to research? Check truecar.com , edmunds.com, kbb.com, nadaguides.com

I used truecar.com to buy mine last week. I got it for several thousand below invoice (after rebates and truecar.com discount). Even if your dealer isn't a truecar.com dealership, I'd still print out the certificate and take it to your local dealer and tell them to match it or you will go elsewhere. My truck's sticker price was very similar to yours and I got it for just under 33,000, before trade in.

My 2011 sticker was 37895.00 and I bought it for 28400.00 about 6 weeks ago. I would think you should be able to do as good or better now.

That sounds like dealers around here, great prices. Sounds like the OP isn't getting the same deal most of us get.

 

OP, shop around and find another dealer, you can find better deals.

With truecar.com I input the options and everything and the dealership I'm talking to is a certified dealer. Says that truecar.com invoice would be 40142 with the 4505 rebate it and dealer discount ($100) it would be 35,537.

Everywhere I looked I saw the 4505 rebate, but on my papers my dealership put an extra $500 on the rebate. And the way it was put onto the final bill of sale, it is a legitimate factory rebate.

 

Also, with the truecar.com discount, they put "preferred customer discount" of over $3,000 on there. Find another dealer.
