What Lift To Do?

WOW WOW WOW, there is allot of mis-information here. As stated before a body lift will actually be your safest bet as far as reducing any premature wear, If someone was looking for lift anywhere from 2-4" then a body lift is the way to go, personally I think that in a day to day driving senario a 2" leveling kit with a 2-3" body lift and 295/75/17's is a great look and will provide you very good function and day to day driving very close to stock. To have it all installed tires, leveling, and body lift you would be well under $2,500, which is what you would spend on a decent suspension lift, not including the tires. Take it or leave it just my $.02.

Body lifts make trucks ride like crap! Spacers/ shackles /city blocks whatever.. using shackles for instance over extends the shocks out ie. A shitty ride. Spacers no so much but stiffen up the ride

Well like i told you before (mind you, i am no truck guru) Its common sense. buddy of mine threw some 20$ shackles on his truck which raised the body causing the shocks/struts/springs w/e the hell you wanna call them to overextend.. causing the truck to "ride like absolute shit" what part of that sir do you not get?

Exactly.

Could you explain again how/why body lifts ride like crap? But this time, explain it by using components that are facilitated in a body lift.

How does a body lift effect the shocks?

Oh i get it.

You do not know what a "body lift" is

Sir, shackles are part of a suspension lift, NOT a body lift. A body lift lifts the body off the frame (common sense?) and does not effect ANY suspension component, nor the ride in the slightest bit.

lol he needs to
