Diablo Trinity 6.0=dead Battery

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but I would like to know if anyone else is having problems with their Diablo draining the battery. I have a 2003 2500HD with the 6.0(75,000 miles) and a new battery. I called Diablosport and they said to change the sleep mode setting to 20 to prevent battery drainage(they have had others with the same problem.) I have tried every setting to the full 1 minute and it still drains my battery within 3-4 days. Stock setting would drain it in a day and a half. I finally unplugged it and it has never drained the battery dead again. I don't drive the truck but maybe once a week and for $600 would like to be able to leave my tuner plugged up. Of course they said that they would look into it for my vin# and tuner# over a month ago. I called back after 2 weeks and they told me that the tech dept had not looked into it yet. Any suggestions?

Your the first I've heard having this issue I had one on my 07 without issue

might want to check and see if there is a CROM update for it on Diablos site. I suggest posting it in their forum (from their site) as well.

Well damn, I gave them my info from the tuner and it was suppose to be up to date.

I use to have the DiabloSort, and with that, out of the box, not alot of improvement but did make a difference. Once you do some data logging and get the tune dialed in better. And if your fortunate to get a custom tune from one of the fellow diablo supporters, you'll see a nice improvement.

 

With that said, I decided to try a BB custom tune and there was a nice improvement over the DiabloSport. I've never looked back
