VIN Decoding - Positraction

Is it possible to determine if a S-10 has Positraction from the VIN?  I can find a number of V6 equipped S-10 regular cabs on GMbuypower, but positraction isn't showing up on the sticker.  (unknown options are - big help)  Or, is the only way to do this is have a dealer do a search?

off hand i do not think you can tell options from the VIN.

Only plants/engine/sequence numbers, etc..

hey greg.  look on your build sheet. (should be in the glove box and look for RPO code "G80"  that will be the locking rear differential.
