A night last week got down to -22 F in northern MN. It was still about 0 where I am located. This week now, we are supposed to have 40's for daytime highs. No snow on the ground either.

AH..... Your Ferenheit measurement is old and out of date.

Lets just make it simple, water boils at 100 C, and it freezes at 0 C.

Too easy, what yours 212, and 32?

Who came up with that?

I know that FARENHEIT guy did, but the rest of the world uses Celsius.

Oh if you where here, I'd offer yeah an Alpine, "You gotta live here to get it"

:D  :D

We're the only ones that matter.  Who cares how temperature is measured in the third world banana republics that populate the rest of the world.

I thought the boiling point was 220 though.  :D  Either way, I've never had a problem remembering 32 is freezing and/or 212/220 is boiling.

BTW, it's not the simplicity such as 0 being freezing and 100 being boiling.  it's the conversion factor to go between celsious and farenheit.

Worst I've been in was my freshman year of college back in fall '93...air temp of -26F, wind of about 50MPH, windchill or -70F...And I walked to the caf, for breakfast at 7am.
