Driver Door Ajar Message

I have searched and found a partial answer.... that is the door sensor is in the latch.

The problem is I slammed my seatbelt in the door. This put about a 1/4 inc dent just below the door latch assembly. I now receive the driver drivers door ajar alarm. I have a feeling this damaged the assembly. I pulled the dent out and lubed up the assembly the best I could, so now it work intermittently. I need some instructions on how to get the assembly out so I can inspect it. I removed the three torx head bolts and the door panel without problem, but cannot figure out how to take the rods off the assembly to get it out (nor how to put them back in so it works). Any advice or instructions would be really helpful. Also if anybody has a part number that would be great.
