Removing driver side power window control 2009 Sierra CC

My 2009 Sierra Crew Cab rear windows work intermittenly. The drivers side goes up fine, but not down. The passenger side rear window goes up and down when it feels like it. Both rear windows work fine from the rear door controls. The problem is the driver side window controls. Thanks

Cause is most likely Dirty switch contacts. These switches can be disassembled and cleaned with electronic spray cleaner. I would try that first before buying a new one.

A similar problem happened to my wife's Jeep. Ended up being broken wires in the door jam flexible conduit. Just another thought other then checking the switch connections.
