You bumped a wire or something stupid. That should never happen. :dunno: I ran the RC kit on 2 trucks now without issue and many many others have too. Its probably the most popular leveling kit for the GMT-900's.

I thought the only wires there were the abs and the brake line at least thats what it looked like to me i cant figure this one out. The 4 wheel drive worked fine before the install and now it dosent i agree its propably something stupid. I hoping someone here has had the same issue. or knows what to look for.

one thing has nothing to do with the other unless you where near the t case and grabbed someting

the message indicates a trouble code,it needs a scanner and no one knows WTF you drive but if its under warranty and the light does not go out ,take it in,

inspect the t case first for wiring being intact

you can disconnect the battery for giggles and reconnect it and flash up your truck and see if that helps

WTF i drive is an 08 silverado crew cab z71 i guess that is important lol. The only scanner i have is an obd2 code scanner i dont think it will pull those kind of codes and no im not under warrenty. It is just strange that it would stop working at the same time as the leveling kit got installed. I tried my obd2 scanner and it pulls no codes hhmm im stumped. All of the lights light up on the 4 wheel drive switch when i start the truck which is one thing i never noticed before.

well unhooking the battery and hooking it back up after about 20 minutes did the trick. Strange boy i sure miss the good old days with out all this electronic crap on the trucks

If your code reader didnt pull any codes then it sounds like it was one of those opps moments by the electrical system. If it doesnt come back on in the next few days you should be fine.

I agree with you on the computer crap you can't hardly do anything with out getting caught by that dam computer. Let us now if it stays fixed. I have the same truck that you have and I'm going to put the R. C. 2" on mine.
