Service Airbag Light with no DTC's

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and was hoping someone can help me out? I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD 4.8L V8 and the service airbag light came on but I am not getting any DTC's? Also the light comes off & on and it seems as if I'm getting low voltage through the truck when it comes on. Can anyone help me on this?

 

Also when I plugged in my obd II scanner to see the code after toggling through my truck went completely dead as if it didn't have a battery plugged in, after a quick jump start it was back to normal.

A standard OBDII scanner will not pick up Airbag DTCs. You need a scanner that will read the airbag system.

Might have to go to the dealer and them use a Tech II

i have seen some weird low voltage things happen,,,

 

 

charge up your battery first and try and duplicate the concern
