I bought my '26 Sierra Denali 1500 LZ0 about two weeks ago. Thursday, at 500 miles, I got the "Reduced Acceleration" message on the DIC along with the CEL on the dash. Limped it 13 miles home. I did not notice any unusual noises. I was only able to pull one code with my scanner, P06DD. Had it towed to the dealer. They are saying that the the crankshaft end play is within spec and there is no excessive metal in the oil. They will be replacing the oil control valve solenoid. Has anyone had or heard about this issue and it was not related to thrust bearing failure? I'm just wondering what to expect after the repair and what to look out for. I'm 62 and bought a slightly used '22 Corvette late June '23. So I'm familiar with the sit first then bring the legs in method :). The truck I spec'd out in the pic includes some very expensive GM step bars. I like them. They look good, but I can buy a set of Iconic 3" round step bars for ~$160, vs the $850 for the GM bars.
