5.3 spark plugs?

hope this is the right section for this. what spark plugs are you guys using in your 5.3s? ive got an 09 sierra with it and asked my mechanic buddy and he said that the truck calls for two different plugs, either platinums or iridiums i believe. so which are you running? and how much are you paying for them? if theyre cheaper state side ill bring some back next time i go over.

+1 Mine is flex fuel so I'm suppose to have them either way as I do burn e85.

alright so iridium if i plan on running e85. what are your worth over in the states? theyre like 16 bucks a piece here in canada

AC Delco iridium. I have the Bosch Platinum IR Fusion's in mine it ran good for awhile. But now it runs like shit. So I'll be switching back to OEM

I picked up a set of 8 Denso Iridium, ZTJ16R10 for 32.00 on E-bay, including ship, friend swears by them, we'll see.

good to know thanks for the help guys. im going over the river this weekend i think for gas so im gonna get some plugs for this thing. does anyone have the delco part number off hand? i may visit a parts store if i cant find a gm dealer over in niagara falls new york

You can look up the number on plenty of part websites yourself

I just bought some last night. The part number for my 05 were 41-110, hwever it had 41-985 in it. They seemed to be the same size so Im assuming Delco just changed the number at some point.
