coolant system bleeding on 05 silvy

05 silvy i just changed the thermostat andi need help bleeding the system also even when the motor hits 240 i dont have any heat inside the truck and yes i do shut it down at 240 210 is the normal operating temp please help thank u.

Did you flush the heater core thoroughly? Someone posted flushing procedure in your other post.

i just now saw that post and i dont see the procedure in it how do u flush the heater core and thank u for ur time

 

also how do i bleed my cooling system

I meant to say the bleeding procedure.....

 

To flush the core, just remove the hoses and reverse flush it with a water hose.

 

Were you having a heater problem before changing the thermostat? Being low on water can cause a no heat condition.

yes i was having heater issues before i replaced the thermostat and what hoses do i reverse flush

problem solved i didnt have to flush the heater core it was just low on antifreeze thanku for ur help
