So did you find a fix for your truck?

Not yet,put a gatorback belt on it but is already starting to make a little noise I looked at the pulley alinement last night and everything seems in check! I'm going to look at it some more today,the water pump pulley wobbles a bit but the back side of the belt runs on it and when i spray the backside the noise doesn't quit?

 

If you wet the other side of the belt does the noise go away? If so it still sounds like alignment. It only takes a very small amount of misalignment to cause chirp and you will not see it with your eyes. You might with a straight edge if you can get it in there but you really need a laser alignment tool.

My belt was chirping last year. The dealer seemed to think it was the tensioner but it stopped doing it so I never had it changed.

Went and bought a another smaller strait edge today but it was so warm out I ended up dragging the powerwasher out to clean trucks and a trailer so maybe tomorrow I will look at it some more
