i had the BFG all terrain tires on my last truck and loved them. my 2011 now has 33000 miles on it and over that next yr i will reach the 55000 mile mark no problem and want to swap out the rubber. Does BFG make the all terrain in a 265/65/R18 that is not in the E load range. I dont think I really need an 80psi tire on my half ton (I may think about it if I had the max package, but that is the next truck for now i have to keep rubber on what i have). Any suggestions, I realy love the BFG's and was able to get almost 75000 miles out of them on my old truck.

I agree, I am going the 275 route as they are taller

If you drop to a 17" wheel, BFG has a few options in a lighter load range.

I have the 265/70/17 in Load range C, pretty smooth ride.

Won't rub level kit should provide plenty of room

I would like to switch from 18"s to 17's as the sidewall is nicer for off road , better ride quality and better load range and tire selection .

I have the 275s and have no issues. You don't need to put 80lbs in, I run mine at 40 and the ride isn't too much different than the stock tires that came on it and after about 20000 miles they are wearing very evenly. I like the heavier sidewall as I hunt in some pretty rugged areas and like the peace of mind of a stronger tire
