Airbag sensor replacement 2003

Hi,

 

My service airbag message and airbag light are showing on my 2003 silverado 4x4. I tried taking apart and reconnecting the connections under the seats, and also disconnected and reconnected the two sensors behind the bumper/under the radiator shroud on the front end.

 

Two questions:

 

Does anyone know how many ohms the front airbag sensors should read with an ohmeter? I'm trying to figure out if one or both are bad.

 

Also, the GM part# is 15057506 MC. It was made in Mexico back in the good old days. From GM Parts Giant, they're about $100 - on Ebay, they are about $125 (although now made in Singapore). On Ebay, there was an identical looking part for newer GM vehicles - It looks similar in design, mounting, and electrical attachment - It is 25794815 - has anyone ever tried swapping with this part - Its only $31 on Ebay.
