Next time, wait to start a thread when you have the photos ready to post up.

Wow, you actually wasted a post to tell me this? I was on my xoom and can't get the photo's from my camera to the xoom, I need to do it via the computer.....

Yes, I actually wasted a post because I get a good price on them if I post in bulk.

It would be like me saying I just fabricated this new custom lightbar and it looks badass, you'll all have to take my word for it since I don't have a pic to put up. I just couldn't wait to make a thread I was so anxious!

Well please forgive me then...I'm sorry I should have paid attention to the unwritten rules for posting online of someone I don't know and have never met before.

Maybe you should post up your rules for everyone to read in order to not be ridiculed...even better maybe everyone should post up thier rules so nobody gets offended ever...Or I have an even better idea maybe you should give me your home number and that way I can run any posts by you prior to my posting them and make sure you approve.

Is this guy serious? I was just busting your balls, guess you didn't get the sarcasm, remember, afterall this is the Internet lol.

They look good! One of the best upgrades I did to my truck and will definitely get my next truck with them straight off the bat.

They look ok on lifted trucks, not so much on a leveled or stock truck. Look out of proportion IMO.

Also, I met with some forum guys a few weeks ago and 3 Silverados had put them on afterwards. On one the mirrors sat perfectly level, on another they were tilting up, and on the third they were tilting down. They def have to sit perfectly level or they look like add-ons.

I personally don't care much for the looks - but I wouldn't have a tow truck without them. The fact that they extend out is a huge improvement in their intended use/function. I find the included turn signal indicators - a useful function for me.. My latest truck came with them and that was a factor in deciding to buy it or not. {one of many many factors}.

Nonetheless - at $400.00 - - - I think a rear view and additional side view camera's would be even better. There are some high quality systems out there - both hard wired and wireless at or below $400.00

Just the mirrors for $150.00 is pretty reasonable..

To each his own..

FWIW,

Carl B.

I've noticed that they tilt down a hair on almost every HD I have seen. I wonder what the reasoning behind that is :dunno:

Add some fog lights! would look sick with the lights on the bulll bar

At some point fog lights will be on the menu...I just don't like the price of the stockers when it looks li,e I still have to wire a majority of them in.

As for the mirrors, the visibility advantages are huge over the original mirrors I really like the convex mirror on the bottom. I can't wait until its time to tow my jeep to see how well they work extended to see behind the trailer.

I just got mine installed (yes AllBlkdOut07 your going to have to take my word on this cause im not snapping a picture right now at 8:30 am) and they take most all the blind spots away. I just bought a used travel trailer and towed it home yesterday with them, i could see the sides of the trailer with ease. Great upgrade over the little ones.

Mine seem to be level, and I'm using mine for towing but can't help it if they make my truck look better at the same time

Yea i bought them for towing not for the looks, but i also do like the way they look so it was a win win. AllBlkdOut07: Not that there is a problem snapping a pick at 8:30 am but i had just woke up and seeing as St. Patty's day was the night before i was not really in the mood to do it. But really i was just busting your stones, you know sarcasm.
