41 states (exceptions being Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Montana, the Dakotas, Kansas, Virginia and Arkansas) and 6 Canadian provinces- British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland (and that is probably the most interesting place I've been so far).

I travel almost every week for work and have probably been to hundreds of cities. I did keep a list of that but it also has customer names so I can't really share that and to edit it out would take too much work. Might get a chance to go to Saudi Arabia later this year too.

.....well then, apperently i need to get out more hahaha

It's a mixed blessing. I've been tons and tons of places but the things I see are about the same each time:

the airport

the customer facility

the nearest Holiday Inn

Occasionally I do get to play tourist. Newfoundland (St. John's) was one of those times. The area is just extremely nice. It was the first time I messed around with my camera and got several postcard-worthy shots without even trying. Other neat places I've stopped at were the Ford truck plant and Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, MI (before I moved here), the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Air Force museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH, the Boeing assembly plant in Washington state and the desert/back country in New Mexico.

The business travel/road warrior thing has been fun but it needs to stop eventually. I'd like to do the family thing one day and it won't ever happen if I'm never home to get to know my new neighbors and such.

Well, last year i had a job travelling to different Air Force bases to do energy audits. In 2010, i travelled 65,000 miles in 7 months. I spent a total of 5 weeks in Hawaii and Pearl Harbor and Barking Sands on Kauai. Also took a weekend trip to Maui with a co-worker as his uncle lived on Maui and set us up in his guest house. I have been to Japan twice, once to Sasebo Navy Base and to Kadena AFB on Okinawa. Colorado, been to Colorado Springs, almost got to go inside NORAD (got bumped by a co-worker with more leverage) Denver (Buckley AFB) San Diego twice, been to Canada 4-5 times.. Vancouver Whistler/Blackcomb snowboarding, Toronto...Went to Cancun Mexico for vacation last year..

Would love to go to Australia, Egypt, France (to watch the Tour De France), Italy...

Central Canada, British Columbia most of the eastern seabord of the US, all of Europe multiple times, China once a year (Yep walked the great wall), Japan. Most of it for business but got to play tourist occassionally. Travelling for business is such a bore, like Mike said in his post, lots of airports, factories and hotels.

Next trip is France at the end of this month on business.

Places next on the list for personal vacation Viet Nam, Germany and Vermont. Nepal is still on my bucket list.

Agreed about travelling for work. It's a lot of sitting in your hotel room flipping channels. The wife thinks it was a party every night. Only good thing was per diem.. if i could eat at reasonable places and have breakfast at the hotel, i was able to bank some cash. Per Diem in Hawaii was $106.00 a day and it was hard to have 20 bucks left over after eating.. everything is so dang expensive.
